An On-Site Family & Children Service Program
Safe Hands was incorporated in 2001 as a non-profit organization providing many different programs and services to communities of moderate to low income families. Our on-site service provides opportunities for adults and children to gain important skills right at their doorstep.
Safe Hands is currently providing service in 7 apartment communities in the Dallas Area 1 in the Fort Worth Area and 2 locations in Ennis and 1 in Terrell. We have served over 25 communities providing summer lunch and activities to children during summer months. In 2011 Safe Hands served over 91,000 nutritious meals to children low income areas throughout Dallas/Ft. Worth; in 2012 Safe Hands has doubled that amount serving a little over 201,000 meals. Since our interception we have served over 50,000 children and their families by way of after school programs, community health fairs, social activities, resource services and so much more.
Our Mission is to transform low income at risk communities by implementing centers in neighborhoods that promote Education, Opportunity and Hope.
